Cas Purdy | Founder & Principal

I’m Cas Purdy, founder of PURDYPR and a lifelong storyteller at heart. For more than 20 years, I’ve led global marketing, communications and PR efforts that help brands find their voice and make sure the right people hear it.

My career has spanned cybersecurity, cloud services, software and renewable energy, where I’ve had the privilege of building high-performing teams, rebranding businesses and leading campaigns that turn strategy into real impact.

Before launching PURDYPR, I was Chief Operating Officer and Head of Marketing at Amshore Renewable Energy, where I helped rebrand the company for growth—transforming not just how it looked, but how it operated. From team building and financial optimization to marketing and sales, I helped reposition Amshore in a crowded and fast-evolving market.

Prior to that, I was VP of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Trustwave, where I shaped the company’s global brand and communications strategy. My work helped establish Trustwave as a recognized leader in managed security services—culminating in its $850 million acquisition by Singtel.

Earlier roles included Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Guidance Software and Director of Public Relations at Websense (now Forcepoint), where I led communications through three major acquisitions and worked closely with investor relations. I also spent time at IBM, managing global media relations and driving consistent, year-over-year growth in media coverage.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin, and I studied at the Université de Paris, La Sorbonne.

I’m based in Chicago and serve clients worldwide.
